ALLIANCE ACADEMY
PIANO

OVERVIEW
Alliance Academy
Alliance Academy is a student-run nonprofit dedicated towards teaching group piano lessons at public elementary schools. High school students from The Westminster Schools teach a class of 25 at Sarah Smith Elementary every week using the Faber Piano Adventures curriculum.
Alliance Academy is a Government Certified Organization, so volunteering will give service hours that you can log. These service hours can be used in an application sent in April of next year by Westminster to get the Presidential Service Award.

A Word From the Founder and Leads
Alliance Academy has been a dream of mine since seventh grade. I’m proud of how far we’ve been able to come in a year - seeing the kids improve is genuinely my favorite part of each week. I hope that these classes can help kids develop a sincere love for music, and I’m excited to do much more in the future.
-Victoria Yan, Founder
Hi, thank you for taking your time to read our website. The goal of Alliance Academy is to make piano fun and easy for everyone. If you are a student, I really hope you will consider joining our club. Although the organization is fairly new I have had so much fun teaching and just being in the organization this past school year. On a side note, if you are a teacher, please consider becoming a sponsor for our club, if you are a parent, please consider supporting our at school events and fundraisers, and if you are a school, please consider having our organization at your school. Thank you so much!
